The User Alerts module is now available on drupal.org. I will probably remove it from GitHub so I don’t go crazy learning CVS/Git at the same time to maintain a project. I’ll still use GitHub for other things, though. It was a good entry point to learn Git since Drupal is moving its entire codebase from CVS to Git in 2011 which should be interesting.

Try out User Alerts. Looking for feedback. It’s already been picked up for use by a college campus student website, a town council website, and a political campaign website in San Francisco. Can’t wait to see how they and others use it.
